Turmeric Milk Chia Pudding Recipe

Golden milk Chia pudding recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • Milk: 250 ml
  • Turmeric powder: 1 1/2 tsp
  • Cinnamon powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Dry ginger powder: 1/3 tsp
  • Crushed cardamom seeds: 1/4 tsp
  • Pepper powder: 1/4 tsp
  • Ghee: 2-3 drops
  • Chia seeds: 4 tbsp – Buy chia seeds

To make this drink first you need to heat the milk and pour it into a glass or a cup. Add in Turmeric powder freshly ground cinnamon powder and dry ginger powder. Next, add 1/4 teaspoon of crushed cardamom seeds, 1/4 teaspoon pepper powder, 2 to 3 drops of homemade ghee, which is also known as clarified butter. Mix it well.

Pour it into another cup from a little distance and then pour it back to the cup. Repeat this process two to three times or you can simply put this into a blender and blend it up. Once everything is nicely mixed, add the Chia seeds and mix it well. Chia seeds might clump a little if it is not mixed well, so you need to mix it really well and once the Chia is completely mixed keep this for 20 to 25 minutes to allow the Chia seeds to swell up.

For sweetness you can drizzle in 1 tbsp of honey. Have this golden milk Chia pudding for breakfast and it will give you a healthy start plus it will keep you fuller till the next meal, along with giving you all the benefits of Turmeric and Chia seeds.
